Former LUSU President and AALU Director Inducted into NWO Sports Hall of FameTerry Robinson, HBK '97, and former LUSU President and Alumni Association Director, is being inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in the Athlete category for his outstanding career in track and field. Terry is currently wheeling across Ontario in support of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Terry's Trek is a 2,897 km trek across Ontario to raise awareness about this all-to-common disorder. Read more |

Grad, Jim Veltman, to Play Last Pro Lacrosse Game on April 26thCP - TORONTO — Jim Veltman is about to play his last National Lacrosse League game and accolades are pouring in. The 42-year-old captain of the Toronto Rock has been on eight championship NLL teams. "He is a tremendous leader and I think it's because he's a man of great integrity," says Derek Keenan. Engineering Grad Builds Music CareerCatherine Taddo graduated from Lakehead's civil engineering program in 1997 and has since received her professional engineering licence.
