2011 Annual General Meeting
The Alumni Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting on October 22nd, 2011 at the Westin Harbour Castle in the Premier Suite from 1-4pm. We would like to invite all alumni to attend. This meeting will be an opportunity to share and bring forward ideas for events programming, learn about the Alumni Association and to stay involved with our alma mater. Everyone has a voice and a vote at these meetings which will help determine the governance, priorities, events, and objectives of the Association for the upcoming year.
The AALU Board is composed of alumni volunteers who work together to support the mission and vision of the Alumni Association. The Alumni Association of Lakehead University's Board of Directors administers the invested funds, sets the annual budget, and determines policies for the operation and control of the Association.
During a typical year, board members may make decisions on a variety of issues, including strategic allocation of resources, student engagement, affinity services, community relations, chapter development, fundraising planning and much more.
Directors serve two year terms.

The Alumni Association of Lakehead University aims to build mutually-beneficial life-long relationships with all alumni and students and help to advance and promote the interests, achievements and ambitions of Lakehead University.
