Calgary and Vancouver Chapters
The Alumni Relations Office is making our way west. That’s you – Calgary and Vancouver, friends! Get ready to come together and celebrate your Lakehead experience. We want all of you Lakehead graduates living in Calgary and or Vancouver to help us form Chapters. By forming a Chapter in your city, you’ll have opportunities to re-connect with former classmates, network, and share your stories.
It doesn’t matter if you are a recent graduate or a graduate from the 70’s – We invite all Lakehead University alumni to participate and encourage you to engage with your alma mater. Get ready for Alumni Chapters in Calgary and Vancouver, this fall!
An official Alumni Chapter is recognized by the university as part of the Alumni Association of Lakehead University, encouraging a mutually beneficial partnership. Chapters play an important role in serving the alumni community, as they:
* Provide opportunities for alumni to socialize, learn, and network
* Help alumni retain their connection to their alma mater by keeping them informed about major events at Lakehead and/or by simply providing the opportunity for alumni to share memories of their years at the university
* Organize fun-filled events and activities for alumni to enjoy in their community
* Provide alumni with the means to serve their alma mater in a meaningful way
