Geology Reunion
The Alumni Relations Office and the Geology Department hosted its first Geology Reunion on March 9th, 2011. This successful event took place on the last day of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s International Convention Tradeshow, and welcomed about 100 Lakehead geology graduates from all eras. Special guest, Dr. Jim Franklin (Lakehead’s first Economic Geologist from 1969 to 1975) was in attendance to greet alumni at the VIP Gondola Box as they cheered on the Toronto Raptors at The Air Canada Centre.
