Lakehead University Partners with Harris Connect to Publish Alumni Print Directory
| Harris Connect is in the final stages of collecting contact information for all of our alumni for the "Lakehead University Alumni: Today" directory. You may have noticed those little yellow postcards in the mail , or e-mails in your inbox, requesting that you contact Harris to update your information. If you have not done so already, we ask that you take a moment to call the toll free number to confirm or update your address and employment information. If you do not want your contact information to appear in the directory, just let them know and they will honour your request. Please be aware, however, that the information collected is sent to the Office of Alumni Relations so that we can update our records. When you call the toll free number, you will speak to a call centre and they will ask for your personal identification number, located on the bottom of the postcards or in the e-mail. After you confirm or update your information, they will ask you if you are interested in reserving a copy of the directory. There are a number of different price points and options. Please note that the company is in the United States and the prices are in US funds. |
Lakehead grads change emails, jobs and locations so often that it is difficult to keep up with them. The Alumni Association of Lakehead University (AALU) has contracted with Harris Connect to update contact information for all Lakehead alums around the world so that they can keep up to date on news and activities from campus. Harris will also help the AALU produce a beautiful hard cover directory that will allow Lakehead alums to find their old university buddies, or be used for personal and professional networking.
The easiest and fastest way to track down an old university friend is through the Alumni Today directory because it will include current contact information. You will be able to reconnect with classmates in your major or from your professional school. Both undergraduate and graduate alumni will be included. The directory will feature an introduction with full color pictures, prominent Lakehead personas, and a history of the university and alumni association. The directory will also include a section for photos and memories from your days at Lakehead.
Harris Connect is the largest print directory publisher in North America. Harris specializes in alumni directories and the data needs involved with a project of this magnitude. Lakehead University grads will be contacted – by phone, e-mail and mail – over the next few months to verify and update their contact and career information. We have received many updates so far - please keep them coming!

If you do not want to have your information published in the upcoming directory, you should simply not return the mail form or fill out the email request. We will not print your information in the directory unless you return our form and provide the requested information. If you wish you can send an email to lakehead%23ca|alumni and we will make a special note of your desire to not be included and double check that your information is not included in the directory.
