Mark Tilbury 

Mark Tilbury has been Chief Administrative Officer & Deputy Director of the Thunder Bay Museum since 2002; and previously held positions with Thunder Bay Distributors and the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce.  Mark began his relationship with Lakehead University in 1990 as a first year student in the Faculty of Business Administration. Within six months of obtaining his Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, Mark was elected to the Alumni Association board of directors.  Throughout his 16 years of continuous involvement Mark has held the position of President twice from 2001-2003 and from 2006-2008.
Mark is an active member of the community, serving on numerous boards including the St. Martin Catholic School Council, Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario, and Our Kids Count.  He is also committed to the pursuit of lifelong learning, having just recently embarked on a Master of Arts in Philanthropy & Development (St. Mary’s University, Minnesota).  Mark and his wife Kirsten are the proud parents of three future Lakehead students:  Emily, Spencer and Claudia.
