| Message from the Alumni Relations OfficeWhat a busy summer it’s been for the Lakehead Alumni Association and the Alumni Relations Office. It seems like just yesterday we were practicing our drives for the 27th Annual RBC Alumni Scholarship Classic, and now we’re already enjoying the 2010 Homecoming celebrations! In between, the Lakehead communities of Thunder Bay and Orillia welcomed both new and returning students to campus, as well as their new president, Dr. Brian Stevenson. Our Fall Edition of the eZine let’s you see what we’ve been up to this summer and shows you what we’ve got planned for the near future. As well, you will find Alumni and AALU profiles, and information about our various programs and services. In addition to our eZine, which is distributed four times a year, we maintain and update information on our website at www.lakeheadualumni.ca, and also on our Facebook and Twitter pages. If you have any questions about Alumni Relations, wish to become involved, or have ideas or comments regarding events or programming, please contact our office at 807-343-8155, or toll-free at 1-800-832-8076, or by email at lakeheadu%23ca|alumni. | Alumni in the Spotlight | Lakehead University Student Testimonial“Lakehead gives you the opportunity to obtain a university education that is well- recognized by graduate faculties across Canada and is very useful in achieving further success while studying at those institutions.” - J.J.
